Retro Metro

Today I achieved a big thing for myself, those of you who read this might not think it a big deal but to me it is :)
From previous posts, you will know by now that I love a spontaneous adventure, doesn't have to be anywhere super luxurious or anything as it can be anywhere you fancy just as long as you don't plan ahead and just go for it on the day. Anyway today I decided to take a spontaneous drive through to the Metro Centre shopping centre to have a wander around, for me this is a big deal because I drove there and back BY MYSELF and managed to not get lost! :D Yeyy!
All the times I have been on my many shopping trips I have never gone alone. I have always had either the boyfriend or the friends with me for that little extra reassurance that I am going the right way but this time, having to rely entirely on my own was quite a nerve wrecking experience but I have conquered it (and in the bad weather too!) and I was feeling very boss-like and proud of myself XD

I decided to have a little nosey in a few shops and of course Topshop was a definite! Since I was on my own I felt I could take more time to have a good thorough look around as when I shop with others I don't like them being left waiting for ages. I found that a lot of sale stuff caught my eye, specially the floral cigarette trousers and the stripy jumper. The trousers were £7! And the jumper which is by a unique designer for Topshop had been reduced from £50 down to £15! Super savings!  The only non-sale item that caught my eye was the other cigarette baroque trousers. I don't usually wear this style of trouser normally but I really liked them when I tried them on :)

To top the end of my trip off I went in to Wetherspoons pub to have my favourite pasta before I left :)

It is the torn chicken and chorizo pasta with spinach and mozzerella in a cream sauce. This is by far one of my favourite pasta dishes and it is such a rarity to have as this pub is the only place that has it. At the pub near mine they used to have it but took it off the menu, PLEASE BRING IT BACK!!
