Poiple

In my Valentine's Day post, I had mentioned a little about my newly dip dyed lilac/purple hair.
I bought myself some Directions lilac hair dye about almost 2 months ago as I wanted to give it a try as I had never done anything like that with my hair before and fancied having a go.
I planned for a while to ombre my hair first and then go lilac/purple straight after in time for Valentine's Day.

The process didn't take as long as the ombre dye. I used the left over comb that you get with the ombre hair kit to brush the lilac dye into my hair and then left it to soak in for 30 mins. Again, like my ombre dye it took 3 attempts.

This was the final result. I must admit I was hoping for the colour to turn out extremely in-your-face bright but as you can see it didn't go that way at all so I was a little disappointed but at the end of the day, I tried it out, at least now I know that I prefer the ombre dip dye now so will probably go back to that later on in the week :)

  2. FUN! That's a nice little change. I did some purple back when I was in college paired with blonde...I'm pretty sure I fried my hair, though. ;) I was a lot more adventurous back then.
